June C. Prendergast
NEWTON - June C. Prendergast, 78, of Newton, died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at home.
Born in Easton, Pa., Mrs. Prendergast lived there before moving to Newton in the early 1960s. She was a homemaker.
She was the daughter of the late John and Evelyn Kist Genther. Her husband, Richard, died on April 29, 2004.
Mrs. Prendergast is survived by one son, ***** and his wife, ****, of Newton, and one grandson, *****.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m., at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton. Interment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Bethlehem, Pa. Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the funeral home.
