Ellsworth C. Geisler Sr., 78, of 2730 Freemansburg Ave., Palmer Township, died Sunday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Helen (Arch) Geisler. They observed their 42nd wedding anniversary in June.

Geisler worked for the American Can Co., Dixie Cup Division, Wilson, for 37 years before retiring in 1974 as an inspector.

Born in Williams Township, he was a son of the late Elmer and Avada (Young) Geisler.

He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ, Easton.

Surviving with his widow is a brother, Donald Y. of Wilson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, 2101 Northampton St., Wilson. A calling hour will precede the services.
