Mrs. Elmer W. Biery, Area Resident, 76
Mrs. Elenora Beiry, 76, of Easton, R.D. 2, died about 5 p.m.
yesterday at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. William Housel,
Mountain Lake, N.J. She had been ill health for the last 14
months.
Mrs. Biery was the widow of Elmer Wilson Biery, who died in
July 1956.
She was born Sept 5, 1885, in Roul Rift, N.J., a daughter
of the late Joseph and Leah Gruver Frey. She lived in the Allentown
area before moving to the Easton area 35 years ago.
She was a former employee of Shapria & Son Curtain corp.,
Easton.
Mrs. Biery was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church,
Farmersville.
Surviving are two daughters, Florence, wife of Charles Long,
Allentown R. D.3 and Mazie, wife of Henry Weidner, Allentown;
four sisters, Mrs. Mary Pysher, Bangor R.D.; Alura, wife of
Raymond Rubright, Easton; Nettie Wife of Frank Frack, Allentown
and Mrs. Minnie Tidd, Atlantic city, N.J. 19 grandchildren
and 30 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Elmer Wilson Beiry,
died in July 1956.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Katinis Funeral
Chapel.
