Richard W. Frankenfield, 67, of 43 N. 18th St., Wilson, died
Friday in Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Marlene (Brooks)
Frankenfield and the late Veron (Mayrosh) Frankenfield.
He was a part-time police officer in Wilson for the past 30
years. He also worked at Easton Electrical Devices for more
than 40 years.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Maude
(Price) Frankenfield.
Frankenfield was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II, participating
in battles at Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima.
He was a member of Palmer Volunteer Fire Company No. 2, Wilson,
Liberty Hose Company, Easton, and the Safety First Volunteer
Fire Company, West Easton.
Survivors: Wife; son, Thomas R. of Wilson; daughter, Marsha
A. of Mechanicsburg; stepdaughters, Michelle Stanley and Patty
Mentzer, both of Lancaster, and Linda Hocking of Easton; and
six step- grandchildren.
