Lloyd W. Frankenfield, 85, of Williams Township, PA, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013, in Manor Care, Palmer Township.
Born: March 16, 1928, in Williams Township, PA, he was a son, of the late Forrest W. and Verna Mae Kester Frankenfield. Personal: He and his loving wife, the former Elizabeth M. "Liz" Race, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on August 12, 2012. Lloyd, along with his late brother, Kenneth, owned and operated Frankenfield Brothers Construction. Previously, he worked for the former Riegel Feed Mill, Durham, PA. He was a 1945 graduate of Easton High School. Lloyd enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and restoring farm tractors.
Memberships: He was a member of Christ Evangelical Congregational (Blue Church), Williams Township. Lloyd was a life member of the Williams Township Fire Company, where he had been president for 20 years and a life member of the Williams Township Sportsman Association. He also served five terms as Williams Township Supervisor.
Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Elizabeth "Liz", he is survived by a son, *****, of Williams Township; a daughter, *****, of Milan, PA; a brother, *****, of Tuckerton, NJ; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a grandson, William Frankenfield; and a brother, Kenneth Frankenfield.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Christ Evangelical Congregational (Blue Church), 2100 Morgan Hill Road, Williams Township. Call Wednesday 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., in the church. Burial will be in Blue Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Easton.
