Daws, Bessie M.
Bessie M. Daws, 79, of Bonita Springs, Fla., passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2005 under the care of Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs.
Born: On July 15, 1926 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Marvin and Beulah Frankfield.
Personal: She and her husband, Thomas, were married for 58 years. Bessie devoted her life to her family and to helping others. She was a teacher's aide for special needs children, a longtime Sunday school teacher, Girl Scout Leader, and worked with many Vietnamese families, arranging homes, food, clothing, jobs, and medical help.
Memberships: She was a member of United Church of Christ in Bethlehem, Pa.
Survivors: In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by three daughters, ***** of Bradenton, Fla., *****of St. Louis, Mo, and ***** of Shelby Township, Mi; four brothers, ***** of Easton, ***** of Punta Gorda, Fla., ****** of Easton, and ***** of Easton; a sister, **** of Easton, Pa; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. A daughter, Janet, died earlier.
Services: Will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the National Cremation Society, Fort Myers, Fl. Memorials: May be made to the Hope Hospice or to the Lee Memorial Cancer Center. |
