Mrs. Uriah F. Savitz
Mrs. Mary J. Savitz, 73, of Nazareth R.D.3 widow of Uriah F. Savitz, died last night at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was a life-long resident of Plainfield township and was born May 24, 1875, a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Dreisbach Fox. Mrs. Savitz was a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Reformed church, Plainfield. Her husband died in 1939.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter F. Miller, at home; and two sisters, Mrs. James D. Long, fo Hecktown and Miss Helen Fox of Hellertown.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Schmidt home, Wind Gap. With the Rev. A. S. Leiby, pastor of St. Peter’s Evangelical Reformed Church, officiating. Interment will be in Plainfield cemetery, Plainfield, Township.
