LESTER `WHITEY' EVERITT

Lester L. "Whitey" Everitt, 72, of 53 N. 5th St.,
Easton, died Thursday, Jan. 2, in Easton Hospital.
A graduate of Lafayette College, he was a foreman and security
guard at Victaulic Company of America, Forks Township, for
35 years until retiring. Before that he was employed by the
former Red Head Gas Station, Phillipsburg, and as a driver
for the former Diamond Cab Co., Easton.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late William and Jennie
(Wilhelm) Everitt.
He served with the Army during the Battle of the Bulge in
World War II.
He was a member of the Mohican Club, Easton.
Survivors: Daughters, son, brother, nine grandchildren
and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son,
Lester Jr.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Ashton Funeral Home, 14th and Northampton
streets, Easton. Call 1:30-2 p.m. Tuesday. |
