William R. (Jack) Dooley
DOOLEY William R. (Jack) Dooley, 90, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007. Born Dec. 2, 1916 in Easton, PA, he was a longtime resident of Bedford, VA and had resided in Jacksonville for over 40 years.
He was a proud veteran who served in the US Army during World War II and was a prisoner of war in Germany. An avid golfer and storyteller, Jack's physical presence will be missed by many, but his memory will live on as a testament to the heart-warming influence he had on countless lives.
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Almira Coleman Dooley, and his daughter, Sharon Ann Watts.
He is survived by his son, ***** and his grandchildren *****, *****and ******.
His passing is also mourned by Anna Dooley and Nadine Warski as well as a host of other relatives and many wonderful friends.
A casual memorial reception will held Saturday, October 6, 2007 between 11:00 A.M.-1 P.M., at his residence at 8779 Como Lake Drive. |
