F. Arling Davis, 54, Post Office Employee, Police Reserve Officer
F. Arling Davis, 54, a lieutenant in the Phillipsburg Police Reserve and custodian at Phillipsburg Post Office since 1937, died of a heart attack yesterday morning at his home, 610 Corliss Ave., Phillipsburg.

He was a son of Wilson Davis of Phillipsburg and the late Ella Nixon Davis, He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are his widow, the former Florence S. Moser; three daughters, two sons, Arling of Bethlehem, and Albert of Phillipsburg, and a brother Robert of Stones Crossing, and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Sholes, of Easton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Hagerty Funeral Home, Phillipsburg.
