Arthur J. Coken, 71, of 316 E. Garrison St., Bethlehem, died
Wednesday in his home. Northampton County Deputy Coroner
Harlan C. Hinkle ruled the death natural.
Coken was the husband of the late Harriet R. (Weaver) Coken.
He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 35 years before
retiring in 1978 as a heater in the bung furnace.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late John and Rosa Coken.
He served with the Army in Germany during World War II.
Surviving are a son, *****. of Northampton; two brothers,
William in Ohio and Jacob of Bethlehem; a sister, Mrs. Louis
Fruitenberger of Bethlehem, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family. There will
be no calling hours. The Wallace M. Long Funeral Home, 500
Linden St., Bethlehem, is in charge of arrangements. |
