Norman J. Coates
Norman J. Coates, 54, of 601 Northampton St., was stricken
fatally yesterday while walking in the 800 block of Walnut
Avenue.
Mr. Coates was employed in the central tool department of
the Bethlehem Steel Corp., retiring 17 years ago because of
ill health.
Born in Easton on July 12, 1919, he was a son of Albert Coates,
Nazareth R.D. 1 and the late Mrs. Coates. He was an Army veteran
of World War II.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John Remechuk, Easton;
two sisters, Mrs. George Reed and Mrs. Ralph Huston Jr., both
of Palmer township, a brother, Elwood, Forks Township, and
a grandson.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Katinia
Funeral Chapel, Wilson. Interment will be in Hay's Cemetery. |
