Gerald E. Brown of Forks Township died Feb. 22 in Easton Hospital. Born February 6, 1925, in Bangor, he was a son of the late Howard Brown and Gertrude (Zellers) Brown Hamlen. He had been vice president of Magnetic Windings Co., Palmer Township. He served in the Army during World War II and was a graduate of Penn State University. He was a past president of the Optimist Club, Easton, and was honored as Optimist of the Year. He was a member of the West Easton Athletic Association.

Survivors: Wife, sons, brother, sisters, nine grandchildren, five great- grandchildren.

Services: private. Arrangements, Ashton Funeral Home, Easton.
