Geraldine C. Zellner, 92, of Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township, formerly of Palmer Township and Nazareth, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Maurice A. Zellner with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage prior to his death in 1994.
Born in Allentown on November 29, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Frances (Williamson) Bleiler. Geraldine was a graduate of Nazareth High School. She and her late husband co-owned and operated Zellner Book Service in Palmer Township for more than 20 years. Geraldine enjoyed collecting glassware and antique books, and she was an avid gardener.
Survivors: She is survived by a granddaughter, Chelsea C. Santoro and her husband, Nicholas of Bethlehem; a grandson, Zachary Z. Zellner and his wife, Ashley of Lakeland, Florida; three great-grandchildren, Emma and Anthony Santoro and Ava Zellner; a daughter-in-law, Pamela Zellner May of Daytona Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband, she was predeceased by a son, Dr. William W. Zellner and a daughter, Joan Johnson.
Services: Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 at 10 a.m. in the Fairview Cemetery, Moorestown, PA. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath.
