Mrs. Adam Bartholomew
Mrs. Miriam M. Bartholomew, 71, of 124 S. 14th St., Easton, died yesterday in Gracedale. She was in failing helath for many years.
She was an assembeler for the former Tung Sol, Inc., Wshington, for four yeasrs, and a weaver at the former Onogado Silk Mill, Easton, for many years. She retired in 1964.
Born in Easton on May 12, 1907, she was a daughter of the late Martin G. and Elsie E.Koch Beck Sr.
She was a member of St. Marks United Church or Christ, easton, and Post 1290 VFW, Ladies Auxiliary, of Easton.
Her husband, Adam Bartholomew, died in 1971.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Elizabeth of Allentown; a son, James B. of Palmer Township; a brother, Martin G. Beck Jr., Easton; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie L. Mott, Wildwood, N.J., and Mrs. Eunice L. Bibleheimer, Easton, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Ashton Funeral Home, Easton. Interment will be in Easton Heights Cemetery
