James J. Arnold, 85, of Palmer Township, died Jan. 28 in Easton
Hospital. He was married to Olga Arnold.
He was a welder in the track division of Lehigh Valley Railroad
for more than 40 years.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Peter A. and Mary
(McCabe) Arnold.
He was a member and usher of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic
Church, Palmer Township.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant
with the 116th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division.
He was a volunteer for Louise Moore Park, Bethlehem Township.
Survivors: Wife; sister, Marie V. Pasch of Wilson; brother,
Phillip B. of Miami, Fla.
Services: 9:15 a.m. Monday, Finegan Funeral Home, 1837 Washington
Blvd., Easton. Mass, 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Call 6-8
p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
