Cyrus Longenbach
Cyrus Longenbach, tax collector of Hanover township for the past 20 yea rs and well known farmer, near Shoenersville, died at his home yesterd ay from a complication of ailments which had kept him bedfast for the pa st three weeks. He was 52 years old.

He was born in Moore Township a son of the late Robert and Mary Reph Longe nbach, and conducted a farm practically all his life. For many years he co nducted the farm where he died, a splendid tract bordering on the concre te highway between Jacksonville and Shoenersville.

He took an active interest in Masonic Affairs and besides holding memb er in Monocacy Lodge, No. 413, F. and A.M. was affiliated with Catasauq ua Chapter, R. A. M., and Leigh Consistory, A.A. S.R. M. He was also a mem ber of the Woodmen of the World and P.O.S. of A., of Shoenersville. He he ld membership in the Christ Lutheran Congregation of Shoenersville.

He is survived by his wife, Mary S. DeWalt; three daughters, Effie L. Evel yn M. and Anna M., school teachers in this vicinity and residing at hom e; a brother, David Longenbach, of Easton, and two sisters, Mrs. Milton Un angst and Mrs. Charles Frankenfield, of Easton.

He will be given Masonic Burial with services at his late home a 1:30 o?cl ock Sunday afternoon followed by further services in the Shoenersville chu rch and interment in the cemetery adjoining.
