Mrs. Amelia E. Bender
Mrs. Amelia E. Buss Hay Bendor, 83 years old, wife of Phoan Bender, died on Tuesday night at the home of her son, Uriel P. Hay, 234 East North Street, Bethlehem.

Mrs. Bender was born in Bethlehem Township, on November 21, 1856, a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Frankenfield Buss. She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and also of the Ladies Aid Society of that church.

She is survived by three sons, Floyd E., William H. and Uriel G. Hay, all of Bethlehem, a sister, Mrs. Wilson Schmeltzle, of Bethlehem, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Cora Clewell; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Steyers Funeral Hom e, Bethlehem. Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery.
