Emma Flater
Atalissa -- Mrs. Emma M. Flater, 93, of rural Atalissa, died thursday evening at the Oakwood Care Center In Muscatine.

Services will be 2 p.m. monday at Cedar Valley Church, with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the Snider Funeral Home in West Libert Sunday afternoon and evening.

She was born December 24, 1882 in Joy, Ill., to Hugh and Matilda Frankenfield Feggs, On. Sept 12, 1906, she married granville Flater.

She was a lifelong member of Cedar Velley Church and was activeint eh church and the women's Farm Bureau.

Survivors include three sons, Herschel of Mesa, Ariz. John of Atalissa, and Eldon of California; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her hsuband and three sisters died earlier.
