William P. Benner, Sr.
William Paul Benner Sr., 72, of 1107 Maple St., Bethlehem, was dead on arrival Friday at Easton Hospital.
Northampton County Coroner Joseph Reichel attributed death to natural causes.
He was taken to the hosital from a vacation cottage in Foul Rift, Lower Mount Bethel Township.
He was employed in Bethlehem Steel Corp.'s No. 2 machine shop for 42 years, retiring in 1955.
Born in Sellersville, he was a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. Irwin Benner.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bethlehem.
Surviving are his widow, Grace (George) Benner; a son, William P. Jr. of Bethlehem; a brother, Norman of Lancaster, and two grandchildren.
Private services will be held Monday in the Barhtolomew Funeral HOme, 211 E. Center St., Nazareth. There will be no calling hours. |
