Roberts June 16, 1990|The Morning Call Donald W. Roberts, 65, of Hawley, Pike County, died Friday in his hom e. He was the husband of Beatrice (Brown) Roberts. He worked for the Department of the Army for many years. Born in Chapmans Quarries, he was a son of the late William and Florence ( Fry) Roberts. He was a member and deacon of Blooming Grove Baptist Church, Pike County. He was also a past master of Masonic Lodge 305 F&AM, Hawley. Survivors: Wife; sons, Donald J. of Hawley and Thomas M. of Owings Mills, Md.; daughters, Nancy Jacobson of Cedar Run, Lycoming County, and Cheryl Lally of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County; sisters, Mary and Anna Brown, both of Allentown; stepdaughters, Linda Billard of Honesdale, Wayne County, Sharon Kurtz of Apalachin, N.Y., and Jody Boyle of Hawley; stepson, Jim Miszler of Honesdale and seven grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Sunday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Teeters Ea st Chapel, 505 Church St., Hawley. | ||
