William A. Zellner, 88, of 2851 Woodbine St., Slatington, died Sunday,
Nov. 11, in the home of his daughter, Brenda K. Price of Slatington.
He was the husband of the late Verna M. (Delbert) Zellner.
A member of the United Steelworkers of America Local 2599, Bethlehem,
he was a locomotive engineer and steel worker employed on the narrow
gauge railroad of Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 32 years before retiring
in 1976. He also owned and operated County View Farm, Washington Township.
Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Charles and Emily M. (Burcaw)
Zellner.
He was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.
He was a member of Grundsau Lodge 1, Allentown, and a charter member
of Grundsau Lodge 18, Emerald.
Survivors: Daughter; son, Errol W. of New Milford, Conn.; three grandchildren.
Services: To be announced. Arrangements, Heintzelman Funeral Home,
Schnecksville.
Contributions: Hospice St. John, c/o the funeral home.
