Mrs. John Allen
Mrs. Lottie Young Allen, 51, wife of John Allen, of 3 Plainfield Avenue, Pen Argyl, died this morning at her home. She was born in pen Argyl, daughter of the late Lewis and Lucinda Messinger Young and resided in Pen Argyl her entire life.
Mrs. Allen was a member of Bethany Evangelical Church; Seibert Ladies’ Bible Class, and the Missionary Society of the church and the Senior Woman’s Club, of Pen Argyl.
She is survived by her husband, a son, Harold Allen, at home; a brother, Albert Young, of Washington, D.C.; a sister; Mrs. Joseph Trengove of Wharton, N.J.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the Pullis funeral home, 126 Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, with the Rev. E.E. Messersmith, pastor of Bethany Evangelical church, officiating. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Pen Argyl.
