John H. Yahraes, 67, Retired Machinist
John H. Yahraes, 67, of 2103 Freemansburg Avenue, died suddenly yesterday morning at Lake Minisink Pike County, where he had gone to spend the summer.

Mr. Yahreas, a lifelong resident of Easton, was a son of the late Henry and Mary Lerch Yahreas. He was a machinist with the Ingersoll-Rand Co for many years, until a heart condition caused him to take a leave of absence for the past year.

He was a member of Lehicton Lodge 244, O.O.O.F. and of the Memorial Evangelical Reformed Church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Minnie B. Young, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Francis J. Riley, of Wilson, two grandchildren; a brother, William of San Francisco, Calif, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Walters of Easton, A son Clyde H. Yahraes died several years ago.

Services will b e held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. from the heck Memorial home with interment in Forks Cemetery.
