Samuel Wilhelm, aged sixty nine years, of No 8 Bush Court for more than thirty years caretaker of the Delaware River Bridge on Northampton Street, died suddenly about 7:30 Wednesday of heart failure. The deceased returned from work shortly after 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and complaint to his sister. Mrs. Margaret Simons, who resides next door, that he was not well and went to bed. A doctor was called but he was unable to aid him and he died shortly after. He is survived by two sisters; Mrs. Margaret Simons of No 6 Bush Court, and Mrs. Susan Cyphers, of Mercer Street, Phillipsburg. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
