Rites set for Nazareth native, victim of crash
Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy A. Lansing, 38, of Lower Saucon
township, Bethlehem R.D,. 7, who was killed Thursday in an automobile
accident will be held at 1L30 p.m. Monday in the Wallace M. Long
funeral Home, Bethlehem.
She was the wife of Peter Lansing.
Mrs. Lansing was killed when her car went out of control on
route 309 in Allentown, went over the medial strip and landed
in the northbound lane. Her car was then struck by a tractor-trailer.
She was pronounced dead at Allentown and Scared Heart Hospital
center.
Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of Paul A. and Dorothy
M. Benn Werkheiser of Nazareth.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by
a son, and four sisters, Mrs. Shirley Rice
of Malvern, Chester county; *****of Goshen
Valley, Chester county, and ***** and *****, both Levittown.
