Harvey W. H. Walters
Harvey W. H. Walters, 85, of 394 Grant St. Phillipsburg, died yesterday in the Causa Convalescent Home where he was a guest about six weeks.

Born Oct 19, 1882, in Easton a son of the late Morris J. and Maria Gruver Walters, he lived most of his life in Phillipsburg.

He was a machinist at the old Standard Silk Co.;, Phillipsburg, and later worked at Ingersoll0Rand Co., retiring 20 years ago.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Easton.

Surviving are his widow, the former Laura Eckhardt; two daughters, Mrs. Mable Mamber, Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Mary Wood, Easton; three sons, Arthur, Easton; Kenneth, Phillipsburg, and Conrad, Buffalo, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Zelda Walters, Morristown, N.J., and Mrs. Anah Sickel, providence, R.I; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A son Frank died in 1950.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. John’s Lutheran Church, the Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg is in charge of arrangements.
