Harvey F. Walter
Harvey F. Walter, 86, of 465 Fisher Ave., Phillipsburg, N.J. died yesterday in the Garden Nursing Home, Phillipsburg, where he was admitted Tuesday.
Mr. Walter was employed by the Standard Silk Mill and its successor, the Sanco Piece Dye Works, retiring 23 years ago.
Born in Easton on June 23, 1888, he was a veteran of World War I.
His wife the former Martha H. Cline, died in 1974.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Diehl, Easton; two sons, Martin Luther, San Diego, Calif., and Clifford, Hollydale, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Dickey, Easton; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hay’s Cemetery under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Easton.
