Mrs. Alfred J. Woodruff
Mrs. Fayette Elizabeth Walter Woodruff, wife of Alfred J. Woodruff, of 724 Porter Street, died at 10:30 this morning at Easton Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital on Saturday, March 1 for surgical treatment.
Mrs. Woodruff was born in Easton, a daughter of Mrs. Edward Thompson and the late Stewart Walter. She lived in this city all her life and had many friends here.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Joann Marie Woodruff, living at home. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Mary Walter, Chrest, wife of Emil Chrest, of 726 Palmer Street.
Mrs. Woodruff was a member of Trinity Lutheran church, martin’s Creek, of which her uncle, the Rev. P. H. Person, is pastor. |
