Mrs. Leon Richter
Mrs. Ester Washburn Richter, 44, wife of Leon Richter, 18 S. Whitfield St., Nazareth, died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday at her home. She had been ill seven years. During her illness she received 137 blood transfusions.

Mrs. Richter was employed in the office at the Nazareth Sewerage Co. until six months ago.

Born July 12, 1912, in Wilson, she was a daughter of the late William and Cora Aber Washburn.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church, Nazareth and Chapter 252 of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is one brother, Sterling Washburn, Phillipsburg. There also are two nephews and one niece.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Knecht Funeral Home, Belvidere and Whitfield Streets, Nazareth.
