Mrs. Ellamanda E. W. Hummel
Mrs. Ellamanda Elizabeth Wagner Hummel, widow of Edwin W. H. Hummel, formerly of Nazareth, died at 7:30 last evening of heart trouble at the home of her son-in0lsa and daughter, Dr. and Mrs. Clyde R. Flory, at Sellersville, aged 79 years.
Mrs. Hummel is survived by the following children; Schuyler S. Hummel and Dr. Clarence D. Hummel, of Wilson, borough, Daisy Hummel, of Richlandtown, Pa.; Beulah C. Hummel, of Allentown; Walter Hummel, Nazareth, and Mrs. Clyde R. Flory, Sellersville. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Alice Black, Altoona, Pa., and a brother, Dr. Andrew F. Wagner, of Los Angeles, Cal. Eighteen Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. A daughter, Mrs. Floyd Kiefer, of Sellersville, preceded her in death.
For many years Mrs. Hummel was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church Nazareth, and was active in the different Church societies. At the time of her death, she was a member of ST. Michael’s Lutheran Church, Sellersville. For seven years Mr. Hummel was a resident of Wilson Borough and during that time was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
The funeral services will be held at the home of Dr. Flory, 23 Temple Avenue, Sellersville, on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. Interment in St. John’s Union Cemetery, Nazareth. |
