Valentine J. Uhler, died at his home near Belfast, Plainfield Township, this morning, of jaundice, after an illness of six months. Deceased was a native of Forks township ands was in his sixty0sixth year. He is survived by a widow and the following children: Ephraim Uhler, of Stockertown; Philip and Peter Uhler living at home; Hannah, wife of Jeremiah Stofflet, of Nazareth; Olivia, wife of Charles Stocker, of Friedenthal. These brothers and sisters also survive: Richard and Jeremiah Uhler of Easton, John J. Uhler, of Lower Mt. Bethel, and Rebecca, wife of Reuben Jacoby, of Upper Mt. Bethel. The funeral will take place from his late home on Monday at 9:30 a.m. Services at Forks Church and interment in adjoining cemetery.
