Rev. Wesley L. Teel
Rev. Wesley L. Teel, one of the best known ministers of the Evangelical church, died yesterday morning in the Allentown Hospital, from a complication of ailments. He was in his 70th year and up to the time of his illness five weeks ago was the pastor at Ackerman’s church, Lehigh County.
Rev. Teel was born at Martin’s Creek and was a son of the late Henry J. and Matilda Fox Teel. He attended public schools of Martin’s Creek and was graduated from Easton High school,. In 1892 he was ordained to the Evangelical ministry and served congregations in Schuylkill, Lancaster, Montgomery and Berks counties. |
