Zachariah Stocker died last night at his home at Schoenertown
of a complication of diseases, aged about 68 years. The deceased
had lived in South Easton, where he kept a saloon and restaurant
on Canal Street, near the suspension bridge, for many years.
He moved to Schoenertown a year ago. The deceased is survived
by his wife, formerly Miss Susanna Edleman, and two children,
Mrs. Emma Matthew, of Philadelphia and Harry Stocker, who lives
with is parents, and four brothers, William and James Stocker,
of South Easton; John Stocker of Reading; and George Stocker,
of Allentown.
