Mrs. Asher C. Abel
Mrs. BelvaM. Abel, wife of Asher C. Abel, 1316 Highland St.,
Allentown, died yesterday at Allentown Hospital where she was
a patient four weeks. She was 67.
Born at Orefield, she was a daughter of late Francis and Lillie
(Knerr) Steckel. She spent most of her life in Allentown.
Mrs. Abel was a member of Christian Missionary Alliance Church.
Surviving with her husband are a son, **** at home;
a daughter, ***** wife of ****, Allentown; two
grandchildren; two brothes, Robert Steckel, Allentown, and
William Steckel, Fogelsville, and a sister, Mabel, wife of
Harry Parks, Allentown.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters
and a brother.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Trexler funeral
Home, 1625 Highland St., with viewing from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
