James K. Stamets, 75, of 622 1/2 Washington St., Allentown,
formerly of the Phillipsburg area, died Thursday in Allentown
Hospital. He was the husband of Nada (Gordon) Stamets.
Stamets was a truck driver for Glenside Concrete, Willow Grove,
retiring in 1979.
Born in Carpentersville, N.J., he was a son of the late George
and Rhoda (Reimel) Stamets.
Survivors: Wife; daughters, Janice Lisicky of Allentown and
Sharon Horvath of Northampton; brothers, George Stamets of
Easton and Richard Stamets of Phillipsburg; sisters, Grace
Frederick of Bloomsbury, N.J., Gertrude Woolf and Barbara Cappelletti
both of Harmony, N.J., Arlene Sykos of Phillipsburg, Claire
Shappell of Greenwich Township, N.J., and Lois Zanks of Hampton,
Va.; and 10 grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Rupell Funeral Home, 465 Memorial
Parkway, Phillipsburg. Call 10-11 a.m. Monday.
