Hilda C. Boyer
... Hilda C. Boyer, 86, of Plainfield Township, Pa., passed away Saturday, March 12, 2005, in Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough.

Born: October 22, 1918 in Bushkill Township, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Freeman and Eva Davidson Smith. Personal: Her husband, Herbert R. H. Boyer, passed away December 13, 1995. She was a machine operator for various local factories in Nazareth and surrounding areas for most of her life. She was also a homemaker who loved to crochet, garden, travel, and spend time with her family. She will be missed by everyone whose life she touched.

Memberships: She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township, Pa. She was also a member of Eastern Star and Bushkill Township Fire Company Auxiliary.

Survivors: four sons, Sherwood, of Bangor, with whom she resided, Robert, of Bangor, Dale, of Bethlehem, and Barry, of Deberry, Fla.; a daughter, Eva Christensen, of Overland Park, Kan.; a brother, Russell Smith, of Lower Nazareth; a sister, Sadie Scott, of Tatamy; 16 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren ranging from 1 month to 47 years of age.

Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Call from 9:30 a.m. to time of services Wednesday in the church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Bushkill Township, Pa. The George G. Bensing Funeral Home, 2165 Community Drive, Moorestown, is in charge of arrangements
