Mrs. Oscar F. Bowers
Mrs. Sarah M. Bowers, 82, wife of Oscar F. Bowers, of 1011 Butler Street, died yesterday in Easton Hospital following a long illness. She had been a patient at the hospital since March 13.

A resident of Easton for many years, Mrs. Bowers was born in Seipsville, the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Edelman Seip.

An active worker in church circles, Mrs. Bowers was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Sunday School and Women's Missionary society of the church. She also served as treasurer of the benevolent society for 25 years, Mrs. Bowers was also a member of the Y.W.C.A.

Besides her husband she leaves three sisters, Mrs. Eugene Kumnacher, Mrs. Joseph Keller and Mrs. Charles Henzelman, all of Easton, and several nieces an nephews.
