Dorothy M. Seip Vail, 79, of Gracedale, formerly of Phillipsburg,
NJ, died on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at the Muhlenberg Medical
Center.
Born: On March 7, 1925 in Easton, Pa., she was a
daughter of the late Benjamin Seip and the late Jennie
Sigman.
Personal: Her husband, Charles W., died in 1974.
She
attended Easton High School. Dorothy loved life, family,
and dancing. Through the years she served as a foster mother
to several children and she kept her home open to anyone
who may have needed her help. Memberships: She was a member
of the Ladies Auxiliary for the Easton Elks and the Safety
First Fire Co., West Easton.
Survivors: She is survived by
a daughter, two stepsons, her pride and joy were her grandsons,
five step grandchildren, two great grandsons, and three sisters,
Edith Morgan of Forks Twp., Pa., Evelyn Ewadinger of Palmer
Twp., Pa., and Pearl Serfass of Gracedale. Two brothers, Clarence
and Benjamin, and four sisters, Jennie, Florence, Catherine,
and Gladys died earlier
Services: A funeral will be held
on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302
Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. A view hour will be held
on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral |
