William T. Sampson
William T. Sampson, 55 years old, died at 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon at his home in Cedarville, of paralysis. He suffered a stroke two weeks ago while at work as a machinist at the Leigh Valley shops. Mr. Sampson was a native of Cedarville. He is survived by his wife, four children; Harold, William and Carol, at home; and Mrs. William Meyers, of Easton; and three sisters; Mrs. Jane Sandt, of Easton; Mrs. W.D. Ward, of Chicago, and Miss Belle Sampson, of Burkesville, Va. Mr. Sampson was a member of St. Peter’s Reformed Church, and elder of the congregation for the past ten years and a member of the Brotherhood of the same church. Before becoming employed at the Valley shops three years ago, he was employed in the dye house of the Stewart silk mill.
