Harold E. Sampson
Harold E. Sampson, 92, formerly of 2900 block of Stephens Street, and Lafayette Towers in Wilson borough, died Tuesday in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Palmer Township.
He retired in 1966 from Ingersoll-Rand Co., Cameron Pump Division, in Phillipsburg.
Born March 17, 1900 in Easton, he was a son of the late William and Mary Maddock Sampson.
He served in the Coast Guard during World War I.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist church in Easton.
His wife the former Helen E. Davis, died Nov. 24, 1980.
Surviving are a daughter, Ruth Miller of Santa Rosa Calif; and a granddaughter.
Private graveside services ill be held in Hay’s Cemetery in Easton, under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home in Easton. |
