Wife of Mayor of Riegelsvile
Mrs. Mildred E. Frankenfield, 64, 163 Easton, Road, Riegelsville, PA.,
died last night in Easton Hospital where she had been admitted Aug
20.
She was the wife of John A. Frankenfield, Mayor of Rieglesville.
Mrs. Frankenfield was born in Easton, a daughter of the late Jacob
and Sarah Shipe Rymond.
She was a member of the Durham Lutheran Church, a member , teacher
and past superintendent of theSunday School, a member and past president
of the Lutheran Church Women; a member of the Altar Guild and the Married
Couples Club of the church; a member and past rayal matron of Lafayette
Court, Order of Amaranth; a member of Easton Chapter No. 214, Order
of Eastern Star and of the White Shrine of Jerusalem No. 13, all of
Easton'; a member of the Winnetka Council No. 164, Degree of Pocohontas,
Kintnersville; and a member of the Reigelsville Leisure Time Club and
the Woman's Auxiliary of the Reigelsville Fire Co.
The Frankenfields celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in June.
She also is survived by a son, Truman, Washington, N.J, R.D.; and
a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Pursell, Milford, N.J, R.D.; four grandchidren,
a brother, Albert Rymond and two sisters, Miss S. Ruth Rymond and Mrs.
Lester Litzenberger all of Easton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Robert W. Snyder
Funeral Home, Riegelsville, PA., with burial in the Durham Cemetery.
