William Bernard Rothrock
William Bernard Rothrock died at noon on Sunday at the home
of his uncle, William Coyle, 746 Mauch Chunk street. heart
trouble caused his death, but he had been a patient sufferer
with a complication of ailments a long time. Deceased was a
native of South Easton, a son of the late George and Mary Coyle
Rothrock, and was 32 years old.
Few young men of the city had more friends than the deceased,
and his death was sad news to all of them. Mr. Rothrock was
one of the most active members of Second Methodist Episcopal
Church, and thought he was unable to leave his home for some
time past, he faithfully served the offices of president of
the Senior Epworth League, assistant secretary of the Sunday-school
and treasurer of the Board of Trustees. He was also a steward
of the congregation. As secretary, treasurer and a director
of the South Easton Water Company Mr. Rothrock worked faithfully.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon from
the home of William Coyle. Interment will be made in Hay's
cemetery.
