Pearl C. Helms, 93, died on Sunday, September 6, 2009 in her home at Saucon Valley Manor. Formerly of Bethlehem, she was the wife of the late Paul D. Helms. She was the owner of the former Pearls Gift Shop, Bethlehem, for many years before retiring in 1972. She was a past Matron of Calypso Chapter 163 of the Order of the Eastern Star, where she also served as secretary and held the Grand Cross of Color.
Survivors: Nieces, nephews; many friends.
Services: will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. She will be layed to rest next to her husband in Hellertown Union Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at: www.longfuneralhome.com.
