Mrs. Martin Williams
Mrs. Bertha Williams, 79, of Martins Creek, died at 11:20 a.m.
yesterday in Easton Hospital. She was hospitalized Saturday.
Mrs. Williams the widow of Martin Williams who died July 16,
1958. Born in Lower Mount Bethel Township, she was a daughter
of the late Hiram and Elizabeth Gruver Raseley.
She was a member of Mount Zion United church of Christ, Martins’ Creek
and a charter member of Bright Star Council 216, Sons and Daughters
of Liberty, Bangor.
Surviving are a son, Marvin, Bangor R. D.1; two daughters,
Mrs. Pearl Blaine, Bangor, and Mrs. Jessie Riker, Brooklyn,
N.Y. nice grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hutchinson
Funeral home, Martin’s Creek
