Age Resident of Morris Park Dies
Mrs. Isabella Shuler, widow of the late Franklin P. Shuler,
died at 7:45 o'clock last evening at the home of her son,
Erwin P. Shuler, first Street, Morris Park, in the 82nd years
of her age. For several years the deceased and her husband
conducted a road stand along the Phillipsburg-Washington
highway, and following the death of Mr. Shuler, three years
ago, Mrs. Shuler made her home with her son.
Deceased was a native of South Side, Easton. but most of
her life was spent in Easton., her home being for many hears
of 211 South Fifth street. She fell nine weeks ago, and since
that time her health declined.
Besides the son with whom she made her home, the deceased
is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary K. Hyde, martin's Creek,
and another son, Chester Shuler, of Morris Park. All her
life she was devout member of St. John's Lutheran Church,
Easton. She was also a member of Star of Easton Lodge, Shepherds
of Bethlehem and the Morris Park Parent-Teacher Association. |
