Catherine E. Barrett, 72, of 645 Main St., Monocacy Towers, Bethlehem,
died Monday, Sept. 8, in her home. She was the wife of Benjamin
S. Barrett, who died in 1990.
She was a baker and decorator at Groman's Bakery, Bethlehem,
for 27-1/2 years before retiring in 1975.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Ira G.S. Sr.
and Lottie J. (Erich) Paulus.
She was a member of Grover Cleveland Democratic Club, Bethlehem,
and Bethlehem Senior Citizens.
Survivors: Brothers, Sterling C., Fred R. and Harold R., all
of Bethlehem, and Donald C. of Mullica Hills, N.J.
Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday, Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden
St., Bethlehem. No calling hours.
Contributions: St. Stephen's Evangelical Lutheran Church or
College Hill Moravian Church, both in Bethlehem.
