Leon S. Parr
Leon S. Parr, 81, died Friday at the Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Centery, Palmer Township. He last resided with his son-in-law and daughter, of 1616 Bushkill St., Wilson Borough.

Mr. Parr worked as a salesman for Luckenbach & Johnson Inc. of Allentown. After his retirement, he was employed until 1981 by Flobe Security Systems Co. of Allentown as aguard at the Bethlehem Corp., Palmer township.

Born in Blairstown, N.J., Aug. 19, 1901, Mr. Parr was a son of the late Gershom and Josphine Vandergrift Parr.

Mr. Parr served in the United States Army during World War I. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Easton.

Surviving in addition to his daughter, are two other daughters, two sons, two brothers, Grover of Belvidere, N.J. and Harry of Easton; sixteen grandchldren and 10 grandchildren

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Strunk Funeral Home of Easton. Interment will be in Easton Cemetery.
