Frank Odenwelder
Frank Odenwelder, 61 years old, of Twenty-fifth and Northampton streets,
Palmer, and road supervisor of Palmer Township for 14 years, died at
his home on Sunday afternoon. He had been ill since Nov. 7
Mr. Odenwelder was a native of Easton, a son of the late Jacob and
Sarah Jane Odenwelder. His entire life was spent in this vicinity and
he had many friends. Last November he was re-elected as supervisor
for a six-year term.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Odenwelder, and two daughters,
Mary and Eleanor, living at home; four sons, Kenneth and Russell, living
at home; James of 1051 Lehigh Street, this city and Stanley of 638
South Main street, Phillipsburg. He also leaves two sisters Mrs. Mahlon
Bonstein, of 38 South Ninth Street, this city; Mrs. John Folk, of East
Stroudsburg; four brothers, Warren Odenwelder, 1039 Wood Street; Grover
Odenwelder, 1253 Washington street; Charles Odenwelder, Wood Street,
this city and John Odenwelder, Atlantic City, N.J.; also one grand-son.
He was a member of the Evangelical Reformed Congregation of Arndt's
Church and also of Manitobah Tribe No. 125, Improved Order of Red Men,
Wilson, and Lehicton Lodge No.l 244, I. O.O. F., Easton.
