Frank Nixon, a well known and respected resident of Phillipsburg, where
he resided all his life, and who was employed at the plant of the Standard
Silk Company for many years, died at 2 o'clock Sunday morning at his
home, 105 Summit Avenue, from a complication of ailments, having been
in ill health since December last. Mr. Nixon was a faithful member
of St. James' Lutheran (Straw) Church, and was active in the affairs
of the church.
He is survived by his wife, three sons, Russell, of Easton; Harold
and Roy, of Phillipsburg; three daughters Mrs. Arthur Dewitt, Misses
Ruth and Flora Nixon, at home and a brother, John Nixon of Dover.
